Bible Class
The men of the Second Battery formed a Bible Class in the spring of 1864. They elected John Craven as their leader and he kept a record of their activities. The original handwritten class book is in the archives at the Minnesota Historical Society. This is a link to a transcription of that original book with spelling, punctuation (of lack thereof), and grammar as Craven wrote it. Illegible words are marked with a ?.
